Friday Club Night 3rd March – Guest Speaker from Skegness Lifeboat Station & Lifejacket Clinic

Our next members club night is 3rd March and we are pleased to confirm we will have a guest speaker.
Anyone who has ever watched the TV programme ‘Saving Lives At Sea’ will know the terrifying situations some people can find themselves in when they venture out on the sea.
Even experienced people can be caught out. We have arranged for a representative from Skegness Lifeboat Station to talk to us about the work of the Skegness lifeboat volunteers. The talk will be followed with a Lifejacket Clinic that will ensure your lifejackets are in good order and ready for this season’s boating. PLEASE bring your lifejackets along so they can be checked out. There will be some spare parts available (at a charge) in case some work is required.
The talk will be given by Pete Barnard MBE RNLI Water Safety Officer & Volunteer Trainer and he will be assisted by a colleague for the Clinic.
Meeting and talk will be in our usual Adult Room at David Lloyds.
Doors open at 19:30 and the talk will start at 20:00.
We look forward to seeing you at this event and don’t forget your lifejackets!
