It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our founder member Barry Jopson – he will be very much missed by his many friends not only within the Boat Club but also here at Burton Waters
Barry started the Burton Waters Boat Club over 15 years ago and until recently had always been heavily involved in all aspects of the Boat Club, including being a highly respected Commodore for 8 of those years.
Our thoughts are very much with Barry’s wife Ann, and their family at this very sad time
