Our first Club event of the year, Notts and Lincs Boat Jumble at the Lincolnshire showground took place Sunday 5th February. The Boat Club had a stand and Barry and Mike were there. Selling started before the crowds were let in at 10:00 and continued steadily until 11;00 when the two tables were reduced to one. Not long after that, all that was left was a small socket set, four books and an electrical plug. Sold up and home for lunch. Although there were not more people selling their surplus items, it was nice to see some of our members who visited the show and our stand.
There are still plans to hold our own boat jumble with Lincoln Boat Club, we just need people to come forward who have items to move on and arrange a time and place for the jumble to take place.
