Contractors Spartan Rescue, working on behalf of Cadent Gas, will be carrying out a roped access inspection of Gas Pipe Bridge 4b over the Fossdyke Canal on the 25th and 26th March.
Works will be paused when craft or towpath users approach so there should be no impact to our customers.
Bankmen and look-outs will be present in the area, either on the towpath or the offside, and a safety boat will be in the water (likely tied to the bank).
It is anticipated that the works will be completed on Thursday 25th March, however as the structure also spans a live railway line, an additional day of time has been provided in case of delays.
We ask that all users take care and follow any advice that may be given by the look-outs and banksmen present.
