Dear fellow members,
Despite entreaties to everyone and changes made to accommodate members requests, we still only have 13 members who have booked to attend our Laying-Up Dinner and Prizegiving on 15th October at the Pyewipe.
The club has agreed to pay for a private room at the Pyewipe and your committee is now getting worried that once again we may have to cancel an event due to lack of numbers attending.
There are 16 members who have already contacted me with their apologies for not being able to attend due to holidays and other commitments which I fully understand, but this leaves another 76 members who have not yet responded.
Unless we get to a minimum of 30/40 attendees we shall have to cancel the event so please all of you who have yet to respond please do your very best to come along and enjoy the evening.
Remember you only have until 23rd September to book your places for yourselves and your guests, send me your menu choices and payments.
