Santa's visit - 12th December

Santa will be sailing around the marina basins on the afternoon of Sunday 12th December, from about 3pm. The route will start with the Care Home then the Marina basin (between The Quays and the Landings), followed by the Flagpole, under the Apartments bridge, round the island behind Park Lane, then the Beach, Moorings, Ellisons Quay, arriving at the Water Taxi pontoon between Harbour Lights and the Greek House, where Santa will come ashore by about 4pm and go to his grotto at Quayside Coffee. Do bring your children and grandchildren to meet him there, they'll get an audience with him and a free gift.

The tree at Quayside Coffee has baubles with the names of all the businesses supporting this event. They have been amazing with support such as boats to use and gazebos for the grotto, but also with cash donations to cover the children's gifts and gifts for residents of the nearby care home. Any surplus will be donated to the SmileTrain charity helping children with cleft lip and palate.

Why not pop into Quayside Coffee and in return for a small donation to the charity you can get a bauble and add it to the tree, personalise it if you like, there are pens there to write your own message or name on.

Our sponsors are - Burton Waters Boat Sales, Belvin Construction, Harbour Lights, The Greek House, Industry Hairdesign, Quays Beauty, Vino Marina, Quayside Gifts, Quayside Coffee, The Beauty Temple and Morrisons, in addition to our partnership with Burton Waters Boat Club and the generous support of individual Directors of Burton Waters. Santa’s Arch has been kindly loaned by Sharon Collins.
