Contractors (Amco Giffen) working on behalf of Network Rail will be conducting inspection and testing of the bridge over a period of three weeks. The works will be carried out using a pontoon, tower scaffold and will involve drilling into the bridge structure at various points.
Please wait and follow the directions of the staff/contractors that will be present on-site. The pontoon will be moved aside to allow the passage of craft as necessary. Please be prepared to wait while it is moved to accommodate passage.
