Update on 22/06/2018:
Our electricians will be on site on Friday 29th June at 4:30am. They will be carrying out the essential maintenance work to fix Lock Gate 1 and they aim to be finished by no later then 1:00pm.
Boaters will still be able to use the Lock, but may experience delays of no more then 30 minutes.
Please follow advise on site and proceed with care.

Due to an unexpected maintenance issue, Lock Gate 1 is currently out of action at Holme Lock.
The other 3 gates are still working, and boaters can still operate the Lock.
Please proceed with care and allow extra time.
