Our guest speaker is local historian Chris Hewis.
Chris is the Chair of Saxilby and District History Group and also Treasurer of the Society for Lincolnshire History and Archaeology. He has written several books and articles on local history and was a regular member of BBC Radio Lincolnshire’s ‘Lunch Bunch’.

Chris will be giving a 60 minute talk entitled ‘Along The Fosse Canal’. With photographs from the ‘John Wilson Collection’ Chris will take you on a boat trip in the early 20th century along England’s oldest canal, from Lincoln to Torksey.
This is free to attend for Boat Club members.
