- Our first Club Friday night gathering will be 3rd February. Our full Events programme for 2023 will be presented during the evening and we look forward to seeing many of our members. The programme will include events voted for in our recent Poll. Meeting at David Lloyds (unless otherwise advised).
- Sunday 5th February, Notts and Lincs Boat Jumble at Lincolnshire Showground. The Club has booked a stand where Club members can sell their surplus boating equipment. Space will be limited so if interested, please confirm your details and space required. As the Club has initially financed the stand, a seller’s contribution to the cost (£50) will be appreciated. - SBS BoatLife Boatshow at NEC (Check out their website). BWBC plan to attend on Thursday 16th February. Our recent Poll showed interest by 28% of votes. Can those members (and any others) please confirm you will attend by confirming names/numbers and contact details to mike.bwbc@gmail.com. It is intended that we stop on the way back for a meal in a very nice establishment on the outskirts of Leicester. Expect to be car sharing.
- Use of the Flight Simulator located at Thorpe Camp Visitor Centre was voted for by 39% of votes in our recent poll. This event requires coordination as only a maximum of four people will be able to complete the session at a time and there are other access restrictions. Therefore, sessions are proposed for Thursday 6th April, Friday 14th April, Thursday 20th April and Wednesday 26th April. Those who have indicated an interest in this event are asked to confirm names/numbers and contact details to mike.bwbc@gmail.com giving first and second preference. In case no dates are suitable, it may be possible to arrange an alternative.”
