We are very fortunate to have Sarah the sommelier of the stunning new sharing-plate restaurant ROOTS of York presenting some beautiful Italian Wines.
Sarah is a trained and knowledgeable wine professional, who specializes in all aspects of wine service as well as wine and food pairing.
Sarah will give you tutored tasting making sure you get the most from the wines and and show you how to taste wines the way sommeliers do.
A selection 
of cheeses will be served to complement the wines.
There is a lot more to Italian wines than prosecco and pinot grigio, did you know Italy is the world’s largest producer of wine, and is home to some of the oldest wine-producing regions?
