Speeding Boats on the Fossdyke

It has recently been brought to our attention by one of our members, that there are some irresponsible small boaters who are ignoring the speed limit on the Fossdyke.
The rules on speed limits (4mph on the Fossdyke) are there not just to protect the canal banks from erosion but also to protect the wildlife who live and breed there especially from March to June.
Could we please ask members, if they see anyone speeding, to politely ask them to slow down. If the speeding is excessive and repeated this should be reported to the Canal & River Trust.
