AWCC 60th Anniversary Rally
Bookings for the AWCC 60th Anniversary Rally to be held at Lichfield Cruising Club from August 9th to 11th are now starting to come in – booking forms are available from the events list at https://awcc.org.uk/members/events.php – there are separate forms for boat bookings and those arriving by car or motorhome.Whilst the booking forms ask for details of your catering requirements, in case you do not wish to commit to these for an event that is still some 11 weeks away, it is quite acceptable to submit your booking for the event now and confirm your catering requirements and make the relevant payments closer to the event by about the end of July.Planning for the event is now progressing well, with talks from 2 canal restoration groups arranged for the Saturday, a fish & chip van for the evening meal (see menu on booking form) followed by a group specialising in hits from the 50s, 60s and 70s for the evening entertainment, amongst other activities. A full programme of activities will be published before long. It promises to be a great event, so get your booking forms in now!!
