Update on 25/05/2018:
The navigation is reopened at Cromwell Lock, however please allow extra time for your journey as the lock is taking additional time to fill and empty.
Original message:
Due to an unexpected mechanical issue with the lock, Cromwell Lock is currently closed to boaters. An engineer is attending site as soon as possible to try and have the lock operational again for bank holiday weekend. Boaters are asked to follow advice from the Lock Keeper on site.
