Dear Members,
We hereby give notice that the Burton Waters Boat Club Annual General Meeting will be held on Friday 24 November, 2023 in the Adult Room at David Lloyd Leisure, Burton Waters. The room will be open from 19:30 and the meeting will start promptly at 20:00. The agenda items for the meeting are detailed below.
One of these items will be the nomination and election of the Club Officers and Committee for 2024. There are some vacancies and we need willing volunteers to fill them. They are open to any member of the Boat Club and are not onerous. Please give some thought to how you can contribute to helping the Club move forward and put your name forward as a nominee. Nominations on the night will also be put forward to the members vote.
Approval of proposed changes to the Club Constitution and new Disciplinary Procedure will be covered under AOB.
The last part of the meeting will be in the form of an open forum which will be your chance to raise any item relevant to the running of our Boat Club.
