Well – what a great day we had today!
Big thanks to John Varley and Julie Varley for all the organising.
If you haven’t done the Guildhall Tour in Lincoln yet – we absolutely 100% recommend it – it’s free, open to everyone, and it’s great (10.30am and 2pm free tours available), you won’t believe how many fabulous treasures they have in their trophy room, including documents dating before the Magna Carta and swords worth over £1m – absolutely amazing – and a thumbs up from everyone that was on the tour today!
We followed this up with a really great meal at Prezzo on the Brayford waterside, thanks and pat on the back must go to Coupon Crutchfield aka Peter Crutchfield who bagged us a 25% discount on the total bill! Food excellent!
Followed by the Open Top Bus Tour – fabulous and we were blessed to miss the rain throughout the day.
Don’t miss these days – can’t recommend them enough – they are brilliant!
