LAYING-UP SUPPER – Saturday 20th October 2018

It is that time of year when we start to reflect on our summer adventures and  put our boats to bed for the winter, so we just have time to relax together for our annual Laying-Up Supper which this year is at the Pyewipe. (7:30 pm for 8:00pm). The event is open to all members plus any guests that you may wish to bring along.

We have arranged a delicious menu for you (see below) and confirmed that for those who live away from Burton Waters, there are, with effect of today’s date, 13 rooms available for you to book if you wish to stay over (cost £80 per double room).

We have to confirm the supper booking by 30th September, and as we are limited to 50 covers, bookings will be taken on a first come first served basis.

Starters

*Homemade Soup of the day £4.95. *Prawn Cocktail topped with Marie Rose sauce £6.25. Chicken LiverPate with an Onion Marmalade and Melba Toast £5.59. Twice Baked Souffle with a Mushroom & Spinach Sauce £6.50.

Main Courses

*Slow Roast Shoulder of Lamb with Pesto Mash & Minted Lab Jus £14.95. (Vg) Indonesian Vegetable Curry, served with White Rice and Naan Bread £11.95. *Chicken Breast stuffed with Stilton wrapped in Parma Ham with a Bacon & Chive Mash & stilton Sauce £12.95. *Salmon Fillet & New Potatoes served with a Lemon Butter Sauce £14.95.

Lemon Cheesecake with Lemon Curd & Fruit Coulis. *Fresh Fruit Pavlova with a Duo of Fruit Coulis. *Fresh Fruit Salad. Chocolate Brownie with a Dark Chocolate Sauce & Vanilla Ice Cream. Duo of Cheese & Biscuits with Chutney & Pickles.
