On 17/18 July we have programmed a Cruise in Company to Thorne via Keadby Lock. Unfortunately for health reasons the Commodore is unable to lead this cruise so we are looking for someone to take over as lead boat. Attached to this notice is a Passage Plan which should help all those attending the cruise.
The passage to Thorne is not a difficult one but whoever takes on the responsibility of lead boat will need to deal with the following matters.
1. Book passage through Torksey and Keadby Locks 24 hours in advance with the Lock keepers. (Keadby Tel. 01724 782205 Mob. 07733 124611)
2. Decide on Thorne overnight mooring either at the New Inn Stainforth or Thorne Cruising Club (both need to be booked).
