Have you got your boat ready for Winter?
| Many of you will be aware we have had our first frost of 2019 this week, an unusually welcome change after all the rain we have encountered over the last few weeks. I was sorry to hear that a few of our moorer’s and brokerage customers have been directly affected by the flooding so our thoughts go out to those affected. Clearly, winterising boats has not been a priority, so it seemed a good time to send out a gentle reminder to everyone about what steps you can and should take to protect against frost damage. As usual, the workshops are doing a few special offers for work carried out over the winter period and as time and space is limited, they will be done on a first come first served basis. This year offers include discounts on Webasto heating systems, Maxpower bow/stern thrusters, free 5 point ‘health check’ and reduced costs for hardstanding storage for those boats lifted ashore. Free lifts are available for those boats chocked ashore for 3 months or more with a service scheduled to be carried out between December 2019 and March 2020.
